Payment Terms
Last updated August 29, 2026
These Payment Terms cover every payment made on Dealflix — operated by Dealflix LLC, a Texas limited liability company — in both directions. They apply alongside our Terms of Service, Broker Terms and Privacy Policy.
1. What you can pay for
Channel subscriptions — a recurring monthly payment to a broker that unlocks their gated deals for as long as it is active.
Per-deal unlocks — a one-time payment for access to a single gated deal.
Both are payments for access to information. Neither is a deposit, an earnest money payment, a commission, a security for a transaction, or an investment in anything. Paying for access buys you the ability to read a deal room. It buys no interest in any property and no right to any transaction.
2. Who you are paying
You are paying the broker who publishes the channel or deal. Dealflix processes the payment on their behalf through Stripe and keeps a platform fee. Dealflix is not a bank, is not a money transmitter acting for you, does not hold your funds in trust or escrow, and is not a party to whatever you and the broker do next.
3. The platform fee
Dealflix keeps 20%of every subscription and unlock. The broker receives 80%. Stripe's processing fee comes out of our 20%, not the broker's 80%.
The platform fee is a software and marketplace-services fee— our charge for hosting, payment processing, and distribution of the broker's materials. It is a share of what you pay for access to information, and of nothing else: it is never part of, contingent on, or measured by any real estate transaction. No commission, sale price, or lease value is shared with Dealflix, and Dealflix is paid the same whether or not any purchase or lease ever happens.
The price you see at checkout is the total you pay. The fee is our share of it, not an addition to it.
4. Card details and Stripe
Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by Dealflix. We never see or store your full card number. Your payment is also governed by Stripe's terms, and brokers receiving payouts additionally accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
5. Subscriptions, renewal and cancelling
Subscriptions renew automatically each month on the date you started, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Cancel any time from your buyer settings.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period in progress — access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, then stops.
If a broker raises their subscription price, the new price applies from your next renewal after we notify you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
6. Refunds
Unlocks are generally final. An unlock delivers confidential deal information the moment it is paid — once you have read it, it cannot be returned. That is the reason for the rule, and it is stated plainly before you pay.
We will refund an unlock when:
· the deal room was empty, broken or materially not what the listing described at the time you paid; or
· you were charged more than once for the same deal; or
· the charge was not authorized by you.
Request a refund within 7 days at support@dealflix.ai. We decide refund requests, including where the money has already been paid out to a broker; where we refund after payout, we may recover the broker's share from their future payouts.
A refund is not available because a deal did not suit you, because the property sold, or because you disagree with a broker's figures. Judging the deal is what you paid to be able to do.
7. Chargebacks
Contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most disputes are a misunderstanding we can resolve faster than a card network can.
Where a chargeback is filed and upheld against a payment already paid out, the amount and any dispute fee are recovered from the broker's future payouts, and we may suspend access purchased with the disputed payment. Repeated chargebacks may end your account.
8. When brokers get paid
Funds settle to the broker's connected Stripe account, on Stripe's payout schedule for that account. Payouts require completed Stripe onboarding — until identity and bank details are verified, earnings accrue but cannot be sent.
We may delay or hold a payout while we investigate suspected fraud, a listing authority problem, or a pattern of refund requests, and we will say why.
9. Taxes
Brokers are responsible for their own taxes on what they earn here. Stripe may issue you a 1099-K where thresholds are met. Dealflix does not withhold tax and does not give tax advice.
Prices are stated exclusive of any applicable sales or use tax, which will be added where we are required to collect it.
10. Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails we retry on Stripe's schedule and email you. Access to gated deals pauses while a payment is outstanding and resumes when it succeeds. Persistent failure cancels the subscription.
11. Currency and changes
All amounts are in US dollars.
We may change these terms; material changes take effect 30 days after posting and email notice, and never apply retroactively to a payment already made.
